A Bookshop Vacancy

A foremost bookshop {Wholesalers and distributors} in the country operating in Lagos, Nigeria requires the services of a professional accountant for employment as:
FINANCE AND ADMIN MANAGER.

Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director, he/she will be required to perform the following functions amongst others:
• Maintenance of a sound accounting and internal control system.
• Preparation of monthly and annual management financial reports.
• Develop and implement sound inventory management and credit control systems.
• Payroll preparation, management and timely remittance of taxes and other statutory deductions.
• Treasury management.
• Provides relevant work schedules and other necessary assistance for the annual statutory audit, and relate with external Auditors, Tax Consultants and Federal/State Revenue Departments.
• Financial P4dgeting and cost management.
• General supervision of the Accounts, Human Resource Management and Admin functions/staff.

Qualifications
• A professional accountant (ACA or ACCA) with at least 5 (five) years experience in a similar function.
• Aged between 37-45 years.
• Articulate and good at writing reports.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications and automated accounting software packages.
• Possession of an MBA and audit experience will be a definite advantage.
